Falcon Project Air ship

The Falcon Project was a dream project with a dreamer's hopes tied to it, William Barnes built up the hopes of many that his air dirigible would be able to locate Bigfoot in the wild and a follow up ground team would be sent in to locate the creature. Lots of big name scientists attached their names to the project from Dr. Jeff Meldrum, John Bindernagel, John Mionczynski among others, as well as many people donating money to get the project off the ground.

Only problem was, it was a scam from the start. Requests were made of William Barnes to produce the company name that was building the dirigible only to see that company close up shop and remove their website from view. Failing to provide pictures of the dirigible being built, the ground team finding themselves discussing that Barnes wanted to send dirigibles to Africa to help stop poachers (when there was no proof one was even being built yet) and a date was set for the ground team to assemble and go into the woods.

Once assembled, the ground team could not get William Barnes to answer their calls, the promised financing and supplies were no where to be found and many of the team vented their frustration publicly about being abandoned in the field.

William Barnes

To this day, there has been no evidence released by Barnes to back up any claims he made that at least one dirigible was in production, and he continues to frequent Bigfoot sites and message boards online bragging about his latest Bigfoot research projects.
