While fishing on the Stillaguamish River on September 5th, 1980, Douglas Trapp came across three distinct footprints. The prints measured in at 13.5 inches in length. Two of the footprints were side by side, and the third was about five feet behind them. The footprints and nearby slide marks seemed to indicate that the creature wandered into the water.
Bigfoot researcher Rene Dahinden went to the location a week later and found that the tracks were still there. He noted that it did not seem other humans came across the track between the discovery and his visit. While two casts were taken by Trapp, one was allegedly lost.
